Team mission
Our mission is to maintain highquality and compliant accounting for the GetYourGuide Group. We aim to accurately account and report financial information in a timely manner and in accordance with corporate policy and accounting standards to our internal and external stakeholders.
You will:
- Prepare monthly reports and support with the preparation of the annual financial statements for the International GetYourGuide entities.
- Conduct General Ledger accounting activities. Prepare and submit VAT filings and support Corporate income tax filing.
- Own accounting related projects (e.g. Business Process Designs & further development of the SAP S4/Hana System).
- Act as a contact person for internal and external enquiries related to Accounting and Tax Accounting.
- Analysis of accounts and statements and provide reconciliations in accordance with monthendclose deadlines and on an adhoc basis.
- Liaise with external parties e.g. auditors tax consultants.
Who you are
- Commercial trained ideally as a tax clerk or accountant; a business degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the finance department of a mediumsized company ideally in the ecommerce sector.
- Very good knowledge of the commercial code; IFRS and group accounting are a plus.
- Excellent analytical and MS Excel skills.
- Excellent English skills German is a plus.
- Independent and structured way of working as well as a team player with reliable time management.
