Matchwell is hiring Registered Nurses with Infusion experiencefor a major medical center in Fairfax VA! See below for full details and benefits.
Hourly rate: $57 $60/hr
Schedule: 13week contract 36 hrs/wk 7:30a5p 4 shifts/wk) no weekends required
Position Requirements:
- Valid RN license in good standing
- Experience or Must have skills: 2 years outpatient infusion experience required. Must be true chemo infusion experience. Ambulatory Oncology Experience
- AHA BLS
- Chemo/biotherapy card
- NIHSS
- EPIC experience
- COVID Vaccine
- TB HepB MMR Varicella Influenza Tdap
- Mask Fit
- Drivers License
- Physical within 1 year
- Skills competencies
- Education and employment verifications
- Other vaccination records as required by facility
Job Duties: Administer chemo Biotherapy Care coordination setting up follow ups setting up labs communicating with front desk and providers injections blood transfusions therapeutic phlebotomy Educating symptom management focused assessments.
Other Details:
- Average # of providers in the clinic/day 1 NP 9 nurse 1 charge nurse 8 nurses on the floor.
- Average # of patients/day 60
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Outpatient chemo blood products enzyme replacement remicade infusions Multiple sclerosis infusions.

- No on call required
- Must be willing to float to these locations floating is not frequent
