Job Description
RN - Dialysis Contract Position
Location: Rochester NY 14611
Assignment Duration: 13-Weeks Contract
Position Highlights:
- Shift: 12-hr. Days
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $1872 $1980
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and effective dialysis therapy to patients with chronic and acute renal failure
- Monitor patients vital signs responses to treatment and overall condition during dialysis sessions
- Perform thorough assessments and documentation pre- during and post-dialysis
- Collaborate with physicians dietitians social workers and other healthcare team members
- Provide patient education regarding dialysis treatment diet medication and home care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety guidelines
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York (required).
- Dialysis experience is required.
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association or equivalent) (required).
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
