Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) seeks a Lead Vehicle Management System (VMS) Engineer to join our One VMS Hardware team in Berkeley MO.
Be a part of the Boeing One VMS Hardware Team that develops the next generation of flight control equipment. Boeing is seeking a highly motivated Lead (Level 4 or 5 Engineer to guide the design development integration and certification of the nextgeneration Vehicle Management System (VMS) for TACAIR Programs.
Position Responsibilities:
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.

Typical Education & Experience:
Lead (Level 4: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD4 years related work experience Master7 years related work experience). In the USA ABET accreditation is the preferred although not required accreditation standard.
Lead (Level 5: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD9 years related work experience Master12 years related work experience). Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
