What youll be doing:
Provides transportation clerical support for the Marshalls Distribution Center. Serves as liaison between the transportation center and Home Office Transportation Department in regards to inbound and outbound shipments. Audits yard for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Coordinates completes and submits all daily reports bills and paperwork required to be sent to the Home Office Transportation department.
- Serves as liaison DC management and the Home Office Transportation Department on shipment issues.
- Assists Receiving and Shipping clerical staff with the completion of daily responsibilities. Collects sorts and files incoming packing lists/manifests from vendors/carriers in preparation for the Layup Department.
- Communicates with carriers on any problems or concerns directly related to the DC in the event the Home Office Transportation Department is unable to resolve the issues/concerns.
- Special projects as assigned or directed.
The Skills that will Make You Successful:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with all levels of Management.
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Very strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Must be comfortable with creating and maintaining spreadsheet formulas/data with Excel.
- 612 month related experience (Distribution/Transportation preferred)
- Shipping & Receiving experience
- General warehouse associate Office clerk
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Shift Schedule:
WednesdaySaturday 6:45am5:15pm
Wage:
This position has a starting pay range of $19.00 to $22.65 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors including relevant skills qualifications and experience
