As a Servicenow Developer you will be responsible for :
- ServiceNow Development: Design develop and customize ServiceNow applications modules and workflows to meet business requirements and optimize IT service management processes (incident problem change request etc..
- Integration Development: Develop and maintain integrations with thirdparty systems (e.g. LDAP monitoring tools CMDB other enterprise systems) using web services (REST/SOAP) IntegrationHub and other integration tools within ServiceNow.
- Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize ServiceNow features such as Service Catalog Incident Management Change Management Problem Management Knowledge Management CMDB etc. to align with business needs.
- Automation and Scripting: Use JavaScript Glide scripting and other tools to create custom scripts and automate processes within the ServiceNow platform. Create business rules client scripts UI policies and scheduled jobs as needed.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Perform unit testing debug and troubleshoot ServiceNow solutions to ensure highquality and errorfree delivery of features and fixes.
- Collaboration and Support: Work closely with other developers business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements and deliver solutions that align with business goals. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow applications.
- Documentation and Best Practices: Document ServiceNow customizations configurations and integrations. Follow best practices for development testing and deployment to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Maintenance and Upgrades: Participate in ServiceNow platform upgrades patches and new feature releases. Ensure that customizations and configurations are compatible with new versions.
Qualifications :
Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field;
Experience : At least 1 year of proven experience in servicenow development
Tools Must have :
- Experience with ServiceNow: Proven experience developing customizing and administering the ServiceNow platform. Experience with ITSM ITOM and other ServiceNow modules is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript Glide API Business Rules Client Scripts etc.. Familiarity with web services (REST/SOAP) ServiceNow integration tools (IntegrationHub Orchestration) and relational databases.
- Experience with ITIL: Understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices particularly in areas such as Incident Change and Problem Management.
- ProblemSolving Skills: Strong troubleshooting debugging and problemsolving abilities particularly in a complex enterprise environment.
