Position Overview
As a Call Center Agent you will respond to routine telephone inquiries in a customeroriented call center environment by following standard scripts and procedures. You will perform tasks requiring a working knowledge of our clients services.
Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $18 $19.80 for bilingual)
- Activity Based Compensation: Eligible after 8 weeks (details below)
Training Schedule
- Hours: Monday through Friday 10:30 am to 5 pm
- Duration: 2 to 6 weeks (additional 2 weeks if needed)
Work Schedule
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm CST
- Friday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CST
- Saturday: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm CST (one Saturday per month)
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to telephone inquiries and issues using standard scripts and procedures.
- Gather information from callers to resolve questions and concerns.
- Communicate appropriate options for resolution in a timely manner.
- Refer nonroutine inquiries and escalations to senior representatives.
- Participate in team meetings and recommend improvements.
- Provide guidance training and assistance to newly hired staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong oral communication skills.
- Excellent time and attendance commitment.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in using PCs and related software.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Positive and professional demeanor.
- Ability to follow guidelines and direction.
