Job Description

THE POSITION

If you possess a passion for the great outdoors and enjoy engaging in practical work that makes a difference the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources presents a remarkable opportunity tailored for you. In this role you will play a vital part in the upkeep and enhancement of our buildings and grounds ensuring they remain pristine and inviting for all who visit. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role you will assist both semiskilled and skilled workers in executing more intricate tasks at White Clay Creek and Big Elk Creek State Parks which are included in the Ridley Creek State Park Complex. Your responsibilities will encompass the cleaning and upkeep of park restrooms buildings and various facilities ensuring adequate paper supplies and other necessities. Additionally you will engage in regular trail maintenance activities to uphold the parks standards and accessibility. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining the overall quality and functionality of the park facilities.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Seasonal fulltime employment without benefits
  • Shift hours and days vary due to operational need with a 30minute lunch
  • Weekends holidays and all shifts as needed at 37.5 hours per week
  • Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.
