Job Description Summary
The Creative Excellence Lead is responsible for shaping and operationalizing our distinct vision for creative excellence across the organization. This pivotal role will drive the development and implementation of repeatable and scalable processes for delivering worldclass creative that elevates quality better engages patients caregivers healthcare professionals (HCPs) and other relevant stakeholders and delivers measurable business results.Job Description
Major accountabilities:
Unified vision and strategic governance.
Build alignment among key stakeholders on a unified vision for Creative Excellence ensuring the strategy delivers measurable customer and business impact.
Serve as a central point for unifying creative quality initiatives under one strategic umbrella clarifying the role and impact of each initiative in achieving the creative excellence vision.
Operationalization and Optimization.
Develop and implement a scalable framework and roadmap for delivering worldclass creative across the organization ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Translate the principle of creative effectiveness into actionable applications by designing and implementing processes tools and metrics that standardize and elevate creative development across teams. Leverage data technology and AI to unlock creative excellence opportunities.
Collaborate across Integrated Marketing teams external agencies and research partners to identify and address barriers to unlocking creative excellence at Novartis.
Partner with the Media Center of Excellence (COE) to build and update best practices playbooks by channel and media partner ensuring consistency and highquality creative output.
Facilitate the establishment of a standardized approach to creative testing encompassing the entire process from premarketing testing to market optimization building upon the existing content effectiveness outputs.
Act as a liaison between Integrated Marketing and Integrated Data and Systems (IDS) for creative testing ensuring cocreation alignment and implementation.
Establish feedback loops and continuous improvement mechanisms for creative work promoting ongoing learning and optimization.
Measurement and Impact.
Establish Creative Measurement framework in partnership with IDS & pulling through in IPMM. Establishing creative measurement best practices and learnings across portfolio.
Define and track success metrics for creative initiatives (i.e. CREATE) demonstrating the value of Creative Excellence in internal engagement and business outcomes.
Regularly communicate progress impact and best practices to key stakeholders
What you will bring to the role:
Education:
Bachelors degree in related field is required; Master of Science and/or MBA preferred
Requirements:
10 years of experience in marketing advertising or creative leadership roles with a proven track record of driving creative innovation and effectiveness
Preferred:
Multifunctional experience in Pharmaceutical Healthcare or Consumer Packaged Goods preferred
Experience in all aspects of marketing across the product lifecycle (launch mature LOE) preferred
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $214900.00 and $399100.00 per year; however while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/25 through 12/31/25 fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further final pay determinations will depend on various factors including but not limited to geographical location experience level knowledge skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements including a signon bonus restricted stock units and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
