We are looking for MRI Radiographers to join us at our London clinic!

The MRI Technologist is responsible for operating cuttingedge MRI equipment to provide highquality imaging services for diagnostic and preventative purposes. This position requires technical expertise a strong commitment to patient care and adherence to regulatory standards specific to the United Kingdoms healthcare system.

This is an onsite permanent position. Our clinic operating hours will be determined by the demand in this locations area we will be open Monday to Sunday subject to change.

What Youll Do

• MRI Operations:
• Perform MRI scans in accordance with clinical protocols and imaging standards.
• Ensure proper patient positioning safety and comfort during procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment ensuring optimal performance.
• Patient Care:
• Educate patients about the MRI procedure addressing any concerns or questions.
• Monitor patients during scans to ensure their wellbeing and safety.
• Data Management:
• Accurately capture and store imaging data adhering to data protection and confidentiality standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic results.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with UKspecific compliance and safety standards (e.g. NHS guidelines UK clinical safety protocols private healthcare standards and radiation safety regulations.
• Participate in regular equipment testing and quality assurance programs.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on imaging advancements.

What Youll Bring

Education and Certification:

• Bachelors or Diploma in Medical Imaging Radiography or a related field.
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) mandatory for practicing as a Diagnostic Radiographer in the UK.
• Postgraduate certification in MRI technology (preferred but not mandatory if equivalent experience is demonstrated).
• Practical training and compliance with Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations 2017 (IR(ME)R).
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) ensuring you can respond to basic medical emergencies.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an MRI technologist preferably in a diagnostic or preventative imaging setting.
• Experience operating advanced MRI systems experience with Phillips equipment is an advantage.
• Familiarity with UK clinical protocols and healthcare standards such as those followed in the NHS or private healthcare environments.

Skills:

• Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fastpaced clinical environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail maintaining accuracy in imaging and safety protocols.
• Solid understanding of UK healthcare compliance regulations including adherence to GDPR for handling patient data.
• Knowledge of the United Kingdoms healthcare compliance standards accreditation and safety regulations.
