Responsibilities
Exciting opportunity for an experienced NNP or highly motivated recent graduate to join our wellestablished practices of neonatologists and NNPs in Columbia South Carolina. Our team provides newborn and neonatology services at Prisma Health Richland and Prisma Health Baptist. We are expanding our team to include fulltime Neonatologist and NNP care at both locations.
- Prisma Health Baptist Medical Center is a 26bed private room LevelIII NICU
- This position will also require intermittent responsibilities at our other surrounding locations
- Our NNPs work in house at night with back up from the Neonatologistfrom home
- The neonatologists provide in house coverage during the day
- Support from a variety of pediatric subspecialists including a pediatric surgical service
- Services provided include conventional and highfrequency ventilation nitric oxide
- Prisma Health Richland is a regional perinatal center covering 16 counties in the midlands of South Carolina.
- Deliveries total 2400 annually with 800 admissions to the NICU
- Our 70bed LevelIII NICU has an average daily census of 62 and the group provides services including conventional and highfrequency ventilation nitric oxide ECMO and a very active brain cooling program
- The NNPs provide inhouse coverage in either 12 or 24hour shifts
- NNPs are also responsible for: procedures delivery attendance admitting and rounding of patients participating in resident teaching newborn nursery coverage at night postop surgical care and CQI projects

Qualifications
- Current APRN national specialty certification
- Minimum of a masters degree
