Job Description

You will manage complex and widely varied projects from day one with the support of senior leaders across disciplines. Responsibilities

    • Collaboratively lead a variety of projects which may include traffic and transit simulation campus plans multimodal corridor studies transportation impact studies bicycle and pedestrian studies regional transportation plans and more
    • Analyze and solve complex transportation planning or engineering problems involving all travel modes
    • Communicate clearly and concisely using strong writing and presentation skills
    • Make effective timely and informed recommendations to elected officials managers and decisionmakers
    • Develop and expand highquality internal and client relationships

Qualifications

    • A bachelors or masters degree in transportation civil engineering urban and regional planning or a related major (e.g. geography math statistics economics)
    • 3 8 years of directly relevant work experience in one or more of the following areas: transportation planning (e.g. bicycle or transit plans infrastructure finance transportation and land use policy) transportation operations analysis transportation engineering and streetscape design transportation demand management (TDM) and/or travel demand forecasting
    • Excellent technical writing and public speaking skills
    • Experience with project management and marketing
    • Professional license (highly desirable)
    • Willingness to travel to other geographic markets on occasion
$100000 $155000 a year
Placement within the stated pay range will be determined based upon education experience and qualifications.
