The Management Analyst at the Training Division analyzes researches develops and implements Maricopa County Sheriffs Office (MCSO) policy training lessons/materials and officewide procedures. This role performs comprehensive research and analysis on complex departmental issues prepares comprehensive reports supports/develops lesson plans and delivers training and provides support for compliance with relevant policies rules and regulations.

Position Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Data Analytics Criminal Justice Public Administration Psychology/Social Work Statistics Education Training Development and Instructional Design or related field.

Experience

  • Two 2 years of professional level analytical and training development experience.

OR

Combined education and experience qualifications

  • Other combinations of education or experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a yearforyear basis.

Other requirements

  • To be considered for employment with the Maricopa County Sheriffs Office successful candidates must not have a revoked or suspended drivers license.
  • Training that may be provided onthejob: FEMA NIMS IS100 and 700; Safety; Payroll; PREA.
  • Prior to hiring the Sheriffs Office requires that all candidates pass a background review.

Our Preferred Candidate has

  • Experience working with law enforcement supporting a dynamic team.
  • Practical knowledge and applied experience conducting data management and analysis.
  • Experience researching applying and or managing grants.
  • Curriculum development and training delivery experience.

Compensation is more than a salary with MCSO:

A background investigation is conducted on a current employee who changes to a Safety Sensitive Position or one having the potential for serious adverse impact on the integrity or efficiency of the County. These requirements do not pertain to employees of elected officials who undergo background investigation processes administered through their respective offices.

Typically successful candidates are hired at a salary rate up to midpoint of the range based on applicable experience internal equity and budgetary allowances.
