As a Painter at The Beverly Hills Hotel your compensation will be $31.50 per hour.
What youll do
Youll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:
A day in the life of our Painter it demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that our Groundskeeper accomplish would be lengthy but the list below is essential to know.
Our Painter is responsible to respond to guest room calls and have the knowledge to make repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
Communicating with clients to determine their painting requirements and helping them make the best decisions for their projects. Assembling scaffolding as required. Covering trim floors furniture and other surfaces with masking tape drop cloths and other protective coverings to keep them free of paint.
Setting up ventilators and other safety equipment to protect Painters from unhealthy fumes. Preparing surfaces to be painted by washing them filling holes and cracks with putty and sanding them until theyre smooth. Applying primer and other sealers to paint surfaces to ensure that paint sticks to them. Mixing and matching paint stain and other finishes to job specifications. Applying paint stain and other finishes to paint surfaces using paintbrushes rollers or sprayers.
Knows Fire Life and Safety procedures shut off valves fire control panel etc.
Can accurately fill out your tracking sheet logs and inspection sheets. Communicates to the supervisor the need for tools supplies materials or training to enable the of exceptional work. Excellent work ethic and a great Can Do attitude.
Perform any other job related duties as required and requested all to ensure our guests receives nothing but the best experience.
Sometimes our guests have special request and our Painter have the ability to satisfactorily complete them. Most of these requests are fulfilled by our Painter
Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. Our Painters are relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct.
Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. Our Painter must communicate with other departments and extended hotel team in order to ensure the alignment remains.
The items shared are essential. However to ensure consistency our Painters are provided with specifics on how we care for their department and our hotel.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to but not limited to the following: standing sitting squatting climbing walking. Vision is a key element close vision distance vision clarity and color vision are very important. There can be a lot of up close intricate work.
