You are:

A motivated inquisitive Senior Software Engineer. You enjoy using your development skills to deliver innovative solutions that help our federal clients improve the services they provide to the American public. Driven by curiosity you explore how new technologies can be applied to solve challenging business problems. You thrive in a collaborative creative and productive team environment where ideas are freely exchanged and innovative concepts evolve into practical solutions.

The work:

Apply application design and development across multiple technology areas
Configure software products and systems to deploy code
Develop product and platform prototypes
Keep track of software application performance
Collaborating within a project team to solve complex problems

Heres what you need:

US CITIZENSHIP
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
8 years of professional experience in software development
Experience with ESXi and VMware to support cloud infrastructure implementation
Proficient in Linux operating systems and shell scripting
Strong programming skills in C/C Golang Python and Java
Experience with software development tools and practices (e.g. Gitlab CI/CD)
Solid understanding of data structures algorithms and software design patterns
Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols
Experience with microservices architecture
Experience with database systems (e.g. SQL NoSQL). PostgresQL preferred
Experience with NiFi or similar data flow tools
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with PCoIP technology

US Citizenship required

As required by local law Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states ofCalifornia Colorado Hawaii Illinois Maryland Minnesota New York Washington and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to office location role skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California Colorado Hawaii Illinois Maryland Minnesota New York Washington and the District of Columbia is:
