The position of Communications Call Centre Attendant (also referred to as Locating) is responsible for providing a direct communications interface to physicians clinics patients ORs emergency response and Public Health organizations within the Nova Scotia Health and its related affiliates. This position is responsible for receiving all internal emergency calls 3333 CODE and trauma) and coordinating the appropriate response teams and personnel. This position integrates and manages the oncall duty sheets and coordinates communications to oncall staff and assignments such as MultiOrgan Transplant Program (MOTP) SAFE Operating Room (OR) and Post AnestheticCare Unit (PACU) teams. This position is responsible for the operational needs of over 16000 pager users and provision of pager replacement and maintenance services.
