We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Commerce Cloud Engineer (m/f/x) to join our growing IT team in Romania. In this role you will help us build and optimize our commerce cloud platforms ensuring a seamless and scalable digital experience for our global customers. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global team driving innovation in a rapidly evolving industry. This is a temporary position limited to 2 years (maternity leave).

Typical work hours fall between the business hours of central European and North American east coast timezones (mostly between 2pm and 11 pm Romanian time). Furthermore we require you to work one full weekend (saturday and sunday) per month to handle patching and critical deployments. Of course we will offer you an compensation.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience within an enterprise level corporate IT environment
• 3 years of working experience in Linux Admin/Middleware Admin/Engineer experience / IT Applications and Technology Business Solutions
• Strong knowledge on Postman Newrelic tool SQL JenkinShell Scripting JBoss Tomcat and Ngnix
• Proficient in Installation configuration of Middleware application servers like WebLogic/ Solr search/ JBoss EWS / wildfy and mod jk load balancer
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture APIs and integration patterns
• Must have knowledge of SAP Commerce Cloud AWS cloud docker Kubernetes and Azure
• Knowledge in CI/CD methodologies includes Jenkins AWS code pipeline etc.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

How you will thrive and create an impact:

• Providing L2 support for all production and nonproduction instances maximizing availability and scalability of all components.
• Continual evaluation of site performance through monitoring and configuration tools.
• Create automated scripts for Weblogic/Jboss domains.
• Managing code migration across environments to ensure continued and synchronized functionality.
• Perform support and troubleshoot activities including storage performance application issues and 3rd party APIs.
• Perform various maintenance tasks and validate the respective applications during scheduled maintenance windows.
• Provide input document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs.
• Respond to and manage incidents escalated from Level 1 support ensuring timely resolution and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Participate in change management processes including creating planned changes for the ecommerce system and obtaining appropriate approvals before implementing them all while minimizing disruption to operations.
