Job Description
CytoTronics is revolutionizing the traditional drug discovery process. Spinning out from Harvard after a decade of research our proprietary semiconductorcell interface enables highdimensional functional assessment of livecell responses at scale.
The Pixel family of cloudenabled cellplate readers provides highresolution multiplexed realtime analysis of live cell characteristics offering deeper insights into how chemical or genetic perturbations impact cell function.
Our software team supports every aspect of CytoTronics from embedded software to cloudbased data analysis tools. As an early member of the team you will play a key role in shaping and evolving our fullstack software environment.

The Role
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at CytoTronics you will design develop and maintain both the frontend and backend components of our software stack helping accelerate the discovery of new and therapeutics.
Youll work closely with software engineers data scientists and biologists to ensure seamless integration across the entire stack. Using your expertise in Python you will contribute to building efficient scalable and resilient infrastructure services to manage the multiple terabytes of data generated by our instruments while also supporting the frontend infrastructure to deliver a smooth and engaging user experience.

- Strong in software design coding and troubleshooting with a focus on getting features to completion

- Innovative with a proactive approach to improving software architecture and finding creative solutions
- Comfortable working across diverse tasks from hardware to data pipelines
- Takes ownership of large features while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure reliability and quality
Key Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5 years of professional handson experience in fullstack software engineering
- Proficient in Python
- Experience with at least one major JavaScript framework (React Angular or Vue.js)
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
Nice to Have
- Experience in DevOps with a focus on continuously improving CI/CD processes
- Experience with cloud infrastructure tools (e.g. Terraform Kubernetes Docker AWS)
- Experience with Signal / Image Processing Scientific Data Analysis Bioinformatics
- Knowledge of site reliability engineering (SRE) observability and monitoring tools
- Experience working with distributed systems and largescale data processing
Compensation
- $145000 $155000
