Job Description
The Marlin Alliance is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Power BI Developer to join our team supporting Navy clients. In this role you will work closely with midlevel and senior developers to design and deliver data visualizations dashboards and reports leveraging Microsoft Power BI and Dataverse. This is a fully remote position but applicants must have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing Power BI dashboards reports and data visualizations to meet client requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to connect transform and model data from Dataverse and other data sources.
- Learn and apply best practices for Power BI development including performance optimization and userfriendly design.
- Support testing debugging and maintenance of Power BI solutions.
- Participate in meetings with clients to gather requirements and present progress.
- Document development processes and solutions to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.
Required Qualifications:
- Active or ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field or 1 year of relevant experience.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Power BI including building reports and dashboards.
- Familiarity with data models relationships and Dataverse.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to Power Platform tools like Power Apps or Power Automate.
- Basic understanding of SQL for querying and manipulating data.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications such as PL900.
Salary Range:
$70000$95000 annually
