We are currently seeking a Golf Cart Enclosure Sewing & Painting Specialist at our Woodland branch. This is a fulltime position and is an awesome opportunity for an individual who is technically skilled and has a passion for craftsmanship precision and customer service. Enclosure Sewing Essential Duties & Responsibilities Job Details:
Operate sewing machines cutting devices and hand tools for various assembly tasks in a safe manner.
Use basic math and measuring skills to maintain consistency.
Assist in fabricating components as per specifications.
Work in tandem with other employees to produce products and stay organized.
Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
Utilize team lifts to move materials and products within the workspace safely.
Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and address any production issues.
Maintain a clean and organized work area always adhering to safety protocols.
Move and organize equipment materials and machinery up to 50 lbs.
Knowledge & Requirements:
Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing facility is required.
Familiarity with industrial sewing machines.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being selfmotivated.
Strong attention to detail with the capability to follow instructions accurately.
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks within the production environment.
Painting Essential Duties & Responsibilities Job Details:
Strips surfaces of components in preparation of repainting using chemical/mechanical means
Prepares surfaces of components and fabricated parts for the application of primer.
Prepare surface of components for finish paint.
Mixes primers and paints.
Maintains paint spraying equipment.
Follow all company procedures and policies.
Follow all safety and security policies and regulations.
Back up department functions crosstrain in other departments and perform other duties as necessary.
Reporting to work on a regular and consistent basis.
Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Build alliances partnerships and collaborate with coworkers in a tactful professional and respectful manner. Be a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Foster an atmosphere of new ideas input and creative solutions when faced with challenges.
Listen to others attentively and retain/process information effectively.
Promote a professional culture that is trustworthy honest and socially responsible while championing an energetic and positive work culture.
Other duties as assigned by management
Knowledge & Requirements:
Experience as a painting technician.
1 year of working with composites and/or structures
1 year of working in a paint shop environment (Preferred: Auto or parts)
Mechanically inclined.
Be a reliable selfstarter.
Demonstrate the use of common hand tools.
Stand and work for extended periods of time.
Be able to lift move push and pull up to fifty 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Full Time
Compensation: $23 $30 per hour DOE
Benefits: Medical Dental Vision Disability & Life Insurance available. A 401(k) Plan is available with a company match.
Leave: 5 days vacation 5 days sick and 8 holidays per company policy
Hours: Day shift M F
