What youll do

  • Lead and Inspire: Guide a talented team in the design development and maintenance of New Relics UI Platform. Your leadership will empower them to achieve their personal and professional goals.
  • Mentor and Develop: Coach a dedicated group of engineers fostering an environment where their talents can shine and they can develop further.
  • Drive Excellence: Spearhead technology decisionmaking processes ensuring engineering excellence and efficiency.
  • Collaborate and Align: Partner with crossfunctional teams to harmonize product business and engineering objectives.
  • Champion Innovation: Implement processes that promote operational excellence and innovation in our everevolving field.
  • Be a Thought Leader: Serve as a domain expert in platform consistency and performance and development productivity.
  • Recruit and Empower: Lead the recruitment and development of toptier talent building a diverse and dynamic team in the region.

This role requires

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience leading engineering teams with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong background in Software Engineering and experience in managing growing and mentoring a performant team.
  • Experience managing several internal and external stakeholders with crossteam dependencies.
  • Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a distributed fastpaced environment.

Bonus points if you have

  • Handson experience with JavaScript and microfrontends architecture is a plus.
  • Expertise in handling client incidents with an understanding of technical risks.
