Job Description

The NFL Media Group is seeking a versatile digital producer and editor with advanced skills in After Effects Photoshop and Premiere. The Digital Video Editor is responsible for executing weekly deliverables for all NFL Media platforms. This producer editor can work autonomously or with a story producer on feature stories or elements. This position is responsible for editing post producing and finishing features while working with post Supervisor and PAs for support.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the story telling behind each creative output to ensure it is clear concise and tailored to our digital audience.
  • ExhibitKnowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite including advanced skills in using Premiere After Effects and Photoshop
  • Design build and animate various graphics and elements for NFL digital platforms
  • Involved in all aspects of daily and weekly postproduction delivery of Original Content for Network Digital and Social platforms
  • Works closely with Original Content Group directors and decisionmakers on a daily basis in terms of concepts/ideas storylines and postproduction
  • PostProduces feature stories from start to finish; including managing edit and delivery
  • Formulates and develops storylines during postproduction in collaboration with producers writers and other departments
  • Postproduction of highend features short form docs and crossplatform elements
  • Coordinates graphics and other elements for various NFL Media Platforms.
  • Communicates with all parties involved in postproduction process from producers to PAs to ensure quality storytelling and timely delivery of features
  • Adheres to established postproduction workflows and schedules in order to meet deadlines and follow best practices as set forth by the department
  • A creative team attitude is mandatory in all tasks requested from the smallest to largest project assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in journalism broadcast media web production or related field preferred
  • 3 years of relevant experience in production environment working with digital/ social media platforms
  • Experience editing highend content for social/ digital platforms

  • Must follow and have thorough knowledge of the National Football League associated events and storylines
  • Must be able to take complex stories and concisely tell them to our fans
  • Must be adaptable and able to work quickly under short deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills

Salary / Pay Range

This job posting contains a pay range which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes in good faith at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job in the location(s) specified. The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances where an external candidate has experience credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • Full Time 40 hours/week
