Job Description
Company Overview: We are a reputable CNC machining company located in Redford MI seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with expertise in CNC Milling and CNC Turning to join our growing team. If you have experience working with Fanuc CNC controls and are looking for opportunities to expand your skills in a precision machining environment this is the job for you! We offer a supportive work culture focused on employee growth and career development. This is a direct hire position and is a 2nd shift 330pm12am) role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC lathes and CNC milling machines with precision to meet strict tolerances 0.05mm).
- Perform CNC machining tasks with focus on highquality production standards.
- Set up and operate Fanuc CNC controls ensuring efficient machine performance.
- Troubleshoot and make adjustments to CNC programs to optimize production and minimize downtime.
- Inspect machined parts for conformance to specifications using precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.
- Follow safety guidelines maintain a clean work environment and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in CNC Milling and CNC Turning.
- Proficiency in Fanuc CNC controls.
- Ability to work with tight tolerances 0.05mm) and highprecision machining.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality parts.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with machining forgings and understanding of their unique properties.
- Handson experience with manual milling and manual turning machines.
- Overhead crane training and certification.
- Abrasive wheel training for safe operations.
- Forklift license or any other nationally accredited qualification.
- Overhead crane and lifting certification.
