Be the conduit between the State Manager and Lending Area Managers.

How will I help
A Home Lending Distribution Team Assistant is a state role supporting the lending leadership with people management processes such as managing recruitment car fleet management lender onboarding financial management in addition to ensuring the leadership team meets obligation in relation to risk and compliance weekly and quarterly activities.

In supporting the State Manager Home Lending directly a TA also assists in tasks that ensure the smooth running of the broader team including compiling reports and insights on performance managing our half yearly reward processes FTE management diary management etc. This is a great opportunity for exposure to leadership and other national teams.

  • Excellent organisation skills and an ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels and influence accountability across a team
  • An understanding of the people and bank processes and the curiosity to find the right teams in the organisation to help solve problems and learn
  • Ability and interest to learn multiple new systems and processes youll know your way around Microsoft Word Excel and PPT and ideally have experience with pipeline management systems
  • Agile responsive and flexible the role requires ability to multitask and manage some peak business periods around budget setting and Variable Reward timelines
  • A keen interest to learn about Lending and develop leadership skills
  • Friendly and positive demeanour eager to assist with diverse tasks while also adept at supporting leadership and offering resourceful suggestions
