Position Overview:
Our client is seeking aProject Engineer Bridgeto join their dynamic team in Albany NY. In this role you will be responsible forcomplex engineering design tasks project and crossfunctional collaborationwhile mentoring junior staff.
You will work onbridge retaining wall and transportation infrastructure projects ensuring compliance with industry standards and project timelines.
Compensation:
Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from$85000 to $115000with a $2000 sign on bonus. Salary range is commensurate with your experience education certifications and skill set. This reflects a strong commitment to attracting toptier talent for this pivotal role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performengineering design calculationsand translate design criteria into completed projects.
- Work on projects includingbridges (prestressed concrete and steel plate girder) retaining walls and box culverts.
- Developtechnical reports investigatory studies and structural detailing.
- Ensure compliance withclient standards DOT regulations and engineering codes.
- Assist Project Managers withcontract development cost proposals and technical scope of services.
- Lead project tasks monitor budgets and ensure timely delivery within cost parameters.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Communicate effectively withinternal teams clients and stakeholdersto resolve design challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5 years of progressive experiencein bridge design and transportation engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- DOT experience is mandatory.
- Prior experience inconsulting engineering or construction industrypreferred.
- Strong proficiency inengineering principles design software and project .
- Excellentverbal and written communication skills including report writing.
- Selfmotivated with the ability to workindependently and collaboratively.
