The Role
Palantir is building and deploying solutions for urgent challenges in airspace defense target tracking and sensor fusion. We are hiring experienced engineers to join our team. The technology you build will be deployed to the worlds most important institutions to solve critical realworld problems.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop software solutions to problems in multitarget tracking sensor/data fusion distributed consensus and related challenges
- Make key decisions about algorithms and architecture
- Build stateoftheart solutions by combining engineering excellence academic techniques and personal ingenuity
- Rapidly iterate to adapt solutions to new needs and continuous deployment
- Collaborate with engineers across Palantir to design build deploy and support your software
What We Value
- Great problem solving skills with the ability to navigate complex systems
- Strong coding skills with demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as Java C Python JavaScript/TypeScript or similar languages
- Passion for leveraging expertise to build real solutions to major problems quickly and broadly deployed
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance is a plus
What We Require
- 3 years in a lead or research role
- Expertise in the subfields of sensor fusion multitarget tracking or distributed consensus
Salary
The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $135000 $200000/year. Total compensation for this position may also include Restricted Stock units signon bonus and other potential future incentives. Further note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individuals relevant qualifications work experience skills and other factors. This estimate excludes the value of any potential signon bonus; the value of any benefits offered; and the potential future value of any longterm incentives.
