Purchasing Assistant
Location: Harrogate North Yorkshire
Salary: 26000
Hours: Fulltime Monday to Friday 9am 5pm)

We are recruiting for a Purchasing Assistant to join our clients growing organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous purchasing experience where you will play a key role in sourcing parts liaising with suppliers and negotiating the best costs.
Purchasing Assistant Responsibilities:
- Negotiate best prices and deals for service parts
- Update parts price lists regularly
- Raise purchase orders
- Manage supplier relationships and resolve operational or service issues
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely and costeffective deliveries
- Maintain accurate stock control information
- Expedite and challenge overdue purchase orders
Purchasing Assistant Requirements:
- Proven experience in purchasing
- Excellent communication skills
- IT literate
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work collaboratively
