Job Description

  • Completion of the twelfth 12th) school grade including business subjects related to word and information processing and training in microcomputer applications or completion of an approved certificate program.
  • A minimum of three 3 years of progressively responsible supervisory and diversified word and/or information processing experience. Two years of which is experience working in maintenance requests in real property environment.
  • Proficiency with Smartsheets Microsoft Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint and SAP (receiving POs).
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team exercise sound judgment and provide excellent customer service in a challenging environment.
  • Proven ability to maintain moderately complex records and to prepare reports from the same.
  • Good organizational skills able to complete work effectively and efficiently under the pressure of a fastpaced work environment with changing priorities.
  • Previous experience in a property management or police environment would be considered an asset.
  • Applicants may be tested.
  • As part of your prehire screening you will be required to complete an Enhanced Security Clearance. Should you accept employment with the Edmonton Police Service you acknowledge and agree to participate in future Enhanced Security ReClearances at scheduled intervals or in any other circumstances exigent or otherwise as required by Human Resources Division.

Hours of Work: 33.75 hours per week Monday Friday. Hours of work may be subject to the terms and conditions of a variable hours of work program.

Salary Range: 21M Salary Grade: 012 $28.644 $35.917 (Hourly) $1933.50 $2424.40 (BiWeekly) $50463.57 $63276.77 (Annually). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.
