We are looking for an IBCS Software Automated Test and Tools Product Owner to join our team to support the IFMC AMD MC PdO.

The Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Automated Test and Tools (ATT) Product Owner (PO) will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office.

Your daytoday work will include:

• Defining prioritizing and managing the development of automated test cases and analysis tools working with Program Management to set priorities for new automated test capabilities and analysis tools and providing guidance to the ATT team for each Program Increment (PI) and Sprint.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather functional and nonfunctional requirements for automated testing tools developing/defining a product roadmap and prioritizing features based on user needs and business impact.
• Creating and maintaining a prioritized product backlog of user stories and test cases for automated testing tools and working directly with the ATT team to meet deadlines and program objectives.
• Supporting the team in developing acceptance criteria for ATT tasks and stories as well as being responsible for verifying work performed by the ATT team and capturing/documenting test results/defects in Jira and/or Confluence.
• Technical briefings demonstrations and advisement to leadership.
• Reporting on status; recommended courses of action competing capabilities performance risks and impacts to the IFMC mission
• Other duties as assigned.

At a minimum you should have:

• US Citizenship and residency in the Huntsville AL area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville AL area.
• An active SECRET security clearance and the ability to maintain.
• A good understanding of software testing methodologies (functional regression performance etc. and testing concepts necessary to establish a clear vision for the automated testing tool suite that aligns with overall product strategy and business objectives.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for test automation (e.g. Java Python JavaScript).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Squish Cucumber and JUnit.
• Fluency in the Microsoft Office toolset.
• A bachelors degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering the sciences or mathematics.
• A minimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above.

You will be highly desirable if you have:

• Previous experience with/knowledge of IBCS PATRIOT MEADS THAAD C2BMC or AEGIS.
• The ability to move out and champion your ideas architectures designs enthusiasm; independent critical thinking; and a team attitude.
• Experience in JIRA/Confluence.
• An Agilist Certification.
