Job Summary
The Department of Management invites applications for a fulltime 9month special purpose position at the rank of instructor/assistant professor in Entrepreneurship and Management to begin August 12 2022. The department is looking for a dynamic teacher with a primary emphasis in the areas of Entrepreneurship Strategy and/or General Management. The position will require maintenance of AACSB Instructional Practitioner Scholarly Practitioner or Practicing Academic qualifications. The position responsibilities include full time teaching (four courses per semester) advising students and service at the department college and university level. The Department of Management is the largest of the colleges departments in terms of majors and consist three disciplines Organizational Behavior Decision Science and Strategy/Entrepreneurship. The department offers a major in management a concentration in entrepreneurship a minor in management and a minor in entrepreneurship. Required Qualifications
Minimum qualification include an earned graduate degree with at least 18 hours in management or a closely related field. Candidates should have a degree in business or management from an AACSB accredited school. Candidates with at least a masters degree in a closely allied field will be considered if they have substantial experience in starting and/or running a business.
Preferred Qualifications
A PhD ABD considered) or Masters degree from an AACSB accredited college or school of business. Ideally candidates should also have business experience experience starting or growing entrepreneurial organizations substantial teaching experience excellent course evaluations and facility in developing and teaching online and hybrid courses.
