Job Description

TITLE: Vice President Operations
DIVISION: Executive
REPORTS TO: President & CEO
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: FullTime
FLSA STATUS: Exempt

GENERAL SUMMARY

For 25 years Nationwide Energy Partners (NEP) has partnered with property developers owners and managers who demand a better energy service experience for their multifamily properties. We are searching for a skilled team member to support our companys purpose to bring people together to connect through thoughtful integration of technology and customer experience. The Vice President of Operations will plan direct coordinate and oversee operations activities in the organization ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and costeffective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establishes implements and communicates the strategic direction of the organizations operations division (Field Operations Outages Procurement Inventory Management Account Management IT Development).

  • Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.

  • Collaborates with other divisions and departments to carry out the organizations goals and objectives.

  • Identifies recommends and implements new processes technologies and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.

  • Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing development organization material efficiency hardware acquisitions and facilities are in line with the organizations business plan and vision.

  • Establishes communicates and implements operationsrelated policies practices standards and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and .

  • Reviews and approves costcontrol reports cost estimates and staffing requirements for projects.

  • Establishes and administers the departments budget and will be responsible to create operating leverage

  • Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the chief executive officer and other leadership.

  • Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management.

  • Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in business administration Logistics Engineering or other industryrelated field required; MBA preferred.

  • At least 10 years of industryrelated experience including three years in upper management required.

  • Energy management and design experience preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

  • Extensive knowledge of the principles procedures and best practices in the industry.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Work Environment: Primarily work from our Home Office in Downtown Columbus Ohio with the flexibility to work from home. You will also work in our Operations Center and in the field supporting all geographies.
