Job Description
Basic Functions: Under the direction of the Vice President of Student Services the Dean of Student Success is responsible for providing leadership in the ongoing development and implementation of programs and initiatives that support student success equity engagement retention and completion. The Dean oversees assigned programs and services including but not limited to: CalWorks EOPS / CARE TRIO MESA Basic Needs Campus Life and Student Marketing and Engagement and services for additional designated populations. The Dean oversees student clubs and the student government manages assigned student grievances and supervises the services personnel and facilities comprising the areas of responsibility.

Required Qualifications
Education & Experience Requirements: The minimum qualifications for service as an educational administrator shall be the following: Possession of a Masters degree; AND One year of formal training internship or leadership experience reasonably related to the administrators administrative assignment.
