Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery improvement research and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne from ambulatory to inpatient and home and communitybased services.
The Department
Alfred Health Support Services provides nonclinical support services across Alfred Health these services include cleaning services car parking and fleet management waste management gardens and grounds distribution security and access control ward support linen services ancillary services food services and hospitality.
The Role
The Security ID Officer will operate as part of the security team and will assist the manager of support services in providing and maintaining as far as practical a safe and secure environment for all staff patients residents and visitors. This position will ensure timely response in the creation of all Alfred Health Staff IDs within quality and security standards. This will be performed in a manner that meets or exceeds industry best practice and maintains security standards in accordance with the Australian Standard Security For Health Care Facilities AS 4485 and in doing so work closely with other Support Services team members to ensure we maintain a committed safe and socially responsible multi skilled team.
