Job Summary:
As a Physician in an affiliated medical practice provides medical services to patients in an assigned area.Job Description:
MaineGeneral Medical Centers Neurology team is seeking a per diem Physician who has a specific interest in electroencephalography (EEG) work.
In the role the Physician:
Must be proficient in the interpretation of electroencephalography.
Will provide EEG interpretation on an asneeded basis up to 35 days per year.
Must be available from 8am4pm during scheduled workdays (no weekends required).
Will perform EEG Interpretation remotely reviewing with MGMC provided software.
Will document EEG interpretations through transcription ensuring accuracy of information.
Will communicate directly to the ordering physician through telecommunication services when EEG findings are emergency. (Reporting findings only. If treatment needed recommend neurology consultation through other available services.
Will send notice of service rendered to the designated individual to include specific information.
