The Position: Our Client is seeking a qualified Manager of Facilities Management in Fort Pierce FL. The ideal candidate will have 4 years of experience in a healthcare engineering environment specifically acute care. Our Client is offering the following benefits and compensation:
- $27.09 per hour 1 to 2 years of experience)
- $32.51 per hour 3 to 5 years of experience)
- $37.92 per hour 5 or more years of experience)

Job Responsibilities:
- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
- Performs management of Plant Operations and engineering to provide preventative maintenance emergency repairs equipment management utility management life safety compliance physical plant maintenance/repair and coordination of construction/renovation projects and provide logistical planning and coordinating to engineering staff.
- This position assumes the role of a Safety Officer and serves as the organizations point person on management of the Environment of Care (EOC) with the goal of full compliance with all applicable regulatory agency requirements.
- The Facilities Manager is fully involved in the quality improvement program of the hospital relating to safety and the Environment of Care
- Oversee the physical space control safety and Environment of Care of satellite buildings and departments relocation of equipment and departments landscaping property development and the emergency preparedness program.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree preferred but will consider high school education or GED
- 3 to 5 years of experience in facilities management
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a healthcare engineering environment
- 3 to 5 years of experience in an acute healthcare setting
- 3 years of previous supervisory experience
