Custom Truck Equipment is looking to hire a Trailer Technician.

As a Trailer Technician you will complete DOT Inspections Aluminum welding of new tarps and cat walks PM services and various repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance and DOT Inspections on trailers trucks/vehicles and related equipment
- Diagnose troubleshoot disassemble vehicles and examine parts for defects and excessive wear.
- Perform repair and customization work as assigned including routine maintenance brake replacement/repair suspension repair electrical and pneumatic and hydraulic component troubleshooting and repair trailer body repair including complete trailer rebuild.
- Provide aftersale services such as component installation
- Performs some fabricating welding (stick wire feed braze solder) cutting (gas plasma saws) riveting and fiberglass repair.
- Good communication skills with the service manager service writer and customers about jobs in progress.
- Someone who is driven to work efficiently and safely to provide the best service.
- CDL is a plus but not required.
- Valid DL with good driving record.
