Mobius is seeking a Principal Missile Defense System Requirements Engineer to join our team! In this position you will fill a senior role in MDAs System Design and Specification Directorate and will support the implementation and of a disciplined systems engineering process to produce Systemlevel technical documents necessary to establish the basis for MDA Program Office subsystem engineering. The position is in Huntsville AL.
Duties of a Principal Missile Defense System Requirements Engineer may include:
- Provide support to the development management and planning for current and future missile defense capabilities
- Provide seniorlevel support to the definition management and of requirements traceability allocation of MDA Technical Core Standards adherence planning
- Provide leadership of the MDA Engineering Requirements Group
- Foster collaborative engineering technical interchanges across the MDA engineering community for requirements development
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 12 years of experience.
- Technical expertise supporting government and contracting staff in systems and digital engineering
- Understanding of Industry/DoD engineering best practices complemented with mature communication skills
- Experience in MBSE tools (CAMEO) principles and methodologies for development requirements design and analysis of architecture in complex DoD projects
- Experience in the development management and planning for current and future capabilities as they relate to missile defense specifically related to the functional portion of the system
- Experience in reviewing analyzing and providing recommendations on the development addition variances and changes to functional requirements as well as providing quality checks on technical documentation and products
- Seniorlevel experience in document development presentations change requests and other engineering products
- Experience with interacting with and supporting high level government customers (Senior NH4 directorlevel and above)
Desired
- NCOSE CSEP or ESEP certification
- Previous MDA experience
- Knowledge of MDA systems engineering processes
- Knowledge of ballistic cruise and hypersonic missile defense fundamentals
Education
- Masters degree in a STEM field
Clearance
Active Secret clearance
