Job Description
AmTran Courier Service is currently seeking a motivated and techsavvy Customer Service/Dispatcher to join our dynamic team.
AmTran Courier Service is an employee driven rapidly growing medical courier company based in San Mateo California. Position Overview:FullTime Customer Service/Dispatcher Monday Friday 11:30 20:00
As a Customer Service/Dispatcher you will be a vital link between our clients and our delivery team. You will manage incoming customer inquiries coordinate and dispatch courier drivers monitor delivery status maintain accurate records and utilize software to optimize delivery routes.The ideal candidate will be detailoriented a quick learner and able to thrive in a fastpaced team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage incoming customer driver and teammate inquiries via phone email and chat with professionalism and efficiency.
Coordinate and dispatch courier drivers to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
Monitor delivery status and resolve any issues that arise during transit.
Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions.
Utilize dispatch and tracking software to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
Collaborate with team members to enhance service quality and efficiency.
Provide support and troubleshooting for clients regarding our services and technology.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
Previous experience in customer service or dispatching is a plus.
Strong technical skills and comfort with software applications specifically Google Workspace.
Exceptional attention to detail and problemsolving abilities.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
The flexibility to work anytime within 07:00 21:00 outside of normal scheduled hours when teammates need coverage for time off.
