If you are ready to change the way the world moves join us at BlueOval Battery Park Michigan a new stateoftheart facility in Marshall Michigan. You will be a key part of the launch team that will help bring the electrification revolution to driveways job sites and highways everywhere. BlueOval Battery Park Michigan will produce lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells to power the nextgeneration Ford EV passenger vehicles and trucks under development.
This new wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company will create more than 1700 jobs when production begins in 2026.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced GRC Specialist to join our Information Security team. This role will be responsible for driving and overseeing IT compliance initiatives developing and maintaining security policies and procedures and managing thirdparty risk.

Responsibilities

What youll do...

  • Compliance Management:
    • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations including ISO 27001 NIST Cybersecurity Framework and industryspecific requirements.
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance program including policies procedures and standards.
    • Assist external and internal compliance teams during audits
  • Policy and Procedure Development:
    • Create implement and maintain a robust framework of information security policies standards and procedures.
    • Review and update policies standards and procedures to align with evolving threats and regulatory changes.
  • ThirdParty Risk Management:
    • Conduct risk assessments of thirdparty vendors and suppliers.
    • Monitor and manage thirdparty risk throughout the vendor lifecycle.
    • Ensure compliance with thirdparty security requirements and contractual obligations.
  • Security Awareness and Training:
    • Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
    • Promote a culture of security awareness and responsibility.



Qualifications

Youll have...

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or related industry experience OR a combination of education and experience
  • 5 years of experience in information security compliance or risk management.

Even better you may have...

  • Strong understanding of information security frameworks standards and best practices.
  • Knowledge of common industry regulations & compliance frameworks such as: ISO27001 SOX GDPR CCPA and HIPAA.
  • Experience with risk assessment methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Certifications such as CISSP CISM or CISA preferred.

This role will start remote and then will be working hybrid out of Marshall MI with expectation to be onsite as needed at Marshall once building construction and timing is established (relocation package available). Once your employment with Ford commences you will be assigned to BlueOval Battery Michigan LLC. You will continue to be employed by Ford Motor Company but work for BlueOval Battery Michigan LLC a Ford wholly owned subsidiary located in Marshall Michigan. You will remain an atwill employee at all times during your employment with Ford or any Ford affiliate or subsidiary with which you later become employed.
