Full time AM: 3 12hour shifts per week 6:30 AM 7:00 PM)
Full time PM: 3 12hour shifts per week 6:30 PM 7:00 AM)

Job Description:
To assume responsibility for certain technical aspects of patient care as directed by the RN/LPN for the hospital. To obtain and record vitals weight inputs and outputs. To successfully complete an inhouse PCT training program. To demonstrate an awareness of patient and personal safety.
Responsibilities:
Assist patient with everyday needs including bathing restroom/bedpan assistance etc.
To assume responsibility for certain technical aspects of patient care as directed by the RN/LPN for the hospital
Monitor vital signs (temperature pulse blood pressure respirations weights input and outputs)
Obtain EKGs
Draw blood and perform finger sticks
Obtain fluid samples or other specimens for testing
Assist nursing staff in administering basic treatments
Notify nursing staff of any issues or concerns
Keep patient rooms clean and sanitized
Ensure rooms have adequate patient care supplies
Assist patients with particular issues or needs
Provide appropriate emotional support
Committed to health care standards
Demonstrate an awareness of patient and personal safety
Empathetic and approachable
Work as a part of the health care team
Successful completion of PCT orientation
CPR certified within 30 days of employment
High School diploma or GED required. Certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within thirty 30 days of date of employment required.
