Financial Analyst (Permanent 30 hour/week PartTime Role)

Navigator Recruiting client is a fastpaced growing international stable $150M manufacturer and distributor in the video/broadband industry headquartered in the south Denver Metro area in Centennial CO. The companys senior leadership team has been together for many years (most of them having left a large successful enterprise to start this company in 2008. The firms culture has an informal familyfeel. There is excellent tenure amongst employees. Employees are respected and responsible selfstarters. Micromanaging and meetings for the sake of having meetings do not exist here. In 17 years this client has steadily grown from 5 employees to 34. Growth is attributed to new clients and new markets products selling well and further growth. Most sales are still from customers in the U.S. and Canada however the Latin American market has been rapidly growing and Europe is upandcoming. The lean Accounting & Finance Department is currently made up of three individuals all with excellent tenure with the company: the CFO a company founder w/17 years experience at the company and focused on strategy; the Accounting Manager w/6 years experience at the company and focused on GL the monthly close and some analysis; and the Accounting Clerk w/15 years experience at the company and focused on invoicing cash receipts journal entries AR collections and bank transactions. This role would report to the CFO and is being created due to a need for more reporting and analysis and also for someone to provide a backup for the Accounting Clerk when on vacation or possibly even for the CFO when on vacation. Ideally this client would like to hire an experienced Financial Analyst with some accounting experience/understanding who is businessminded and who is capable of seeing the Big Picture and who wants to become more involved in the operations and analysis. This is a permanent parttime salaried position with full benefits. The excellent benefits include major medical insurance (company pays 100 of employee monthly premium) dental life vision pretax health 401k 5 match and 2 weeks vacation. There is also a yearly bonus of up to 10 of your salary The bonus is based on company and individual performance. The hours for this position are 30 hours/week. The company strives for work/life balance for its employees and the company is flexible on whether someone wants to work in a hybrid arrangement from home 12 days/week (probably after getting acclimated into the job).

Responsibilities
The position will be responsible for:
- Supporting various groupswithin the organization such as Operations the Executive Team and Sales by providing various types of financial reporting and analysis such as:
- Production Forecasting predicting future demand for a product specifically to determine the required production capacity and resources
- Demand Planning forecastingcustomer demand for thecompanys products within the supply chain management process ensuring that the right amount of inventory is available to meet customer demand without incurring excess costs.
- Detailed sales reports by customer product region (Latin America Canada U.S. Europe etc. etc.
- Travel & Entertainment costs
- Budget to Actuals Analysis and basic research
- Researching why a cost is up by 1015 for example
- Ad hoc projects
- Support / back up for daily accounting transactions (AR AP cash management standard journal entries monthly close process
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance or a related field preferred but not required
- 2 years experience in financial analysis and financial reporting
- Prior GL experience and experience preparing financial statementsin accordance to GAAP is very helpful
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- All handson deck attitude required (as no one is too important to do any task at this company)
- Sage X3 cloudbased ERP system experience is helpful but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Must be happy to work in a small group and be selfmotivated (will not be micromanaged)
