Job Description
The Communications Specialist develops and implements comprehensive communications strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives. They produce highquality written content for various communications channels including press releases reports presentations and internal communications.To be eligible for this position the candidatemust hold an active TS/SCI security clearance.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders ensuring clear and consistent communication.
- Manage and respond to Requests for Information (RFI) from various stakeholders ensuring timely and accurate information delivery.
- Assist in managing communication during crisis situations providing timely and accurate information to mitigate impact.
- Ensure all communications are consistent with the organizations mission values and messaging guidelines.
- Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of communications strategies and initiatives using data to inform improvements. They take direction from more senior personnel.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Bachelors degree in Communications Public Relations Journalism or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of tools.
- Ability to work on several products concurrently while managing competing deadlines. Exceptional written and verbal skills.
- This position is 100 onsite.
