Job Description
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are currently seeking a Cadet in their last year of study or a Graduate Accountant to join our progressive team. The candidate for this position will work closely with the team and our specialist divisions to deliver a range of services and meet the financial and business needs of clients.
- Understand and apply essential tax laws applicable to your daytoday tasks
- Prepare basic income tax returns for individuals sole traders partnerships companies and trusts
- Complete general accounting duties related to sole traders partnerships trusts and companies including but not limited to reconciliations preparation of accounts draft financial statements work papers BAS budgets and cashflow forecasts
- Utilise a wide range of software and technology including but not limited to MS Word MS Excel MS Outlook MYOB and a variety of other taxation and accountingrelated products
- Preparation of Single Touch Payroll and any other client related reporting requirements
- Preparation of Workers Compensation forms including declaration of actual wages
- Research and administration
- Drafting client invoices

- Welldeveloped verbal and written communication skills able to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- Understanding of and commitment to confidentiality
- Currently undertaking or recently completed an accounting business or commerce tertiary course
- Commitment to undertake the Chartered Accountants Program or Certified Practicing Accountants Program
