5 STAR Event Services is expanding our Security Team for upcoming events like the Besame Mucho Music Festival at COTA and many more! Get paid to work amazing events while ensuring safety and a positive experience for all attendees.

As a Barricade Security professional you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of all clients guests and employees at events. This includes working in a highenergy environment where safety is the top priority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Barricade Security: Monitor barricades and access points throughout the event venue ensuring smooth crowd control and safety for all attendees.
- Enforce and uphold the integrity of public and private areas of the venue.
- Perform routine search procedures including bag checks and screening guests to ensure prohibited items do not enter the venue.
- Greet direct and assist guests to seating areas stages and services offering excellent customer service.
- Ensure safe access routes for patrons and vehicles maintaining clear pathways throughout the venue.
- Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies assisting with the safe and orderly evacuation of the venue when necessary.
- Report any suspicious activity or behavior immediately to the event security team and follow protocols.
- Collaborate with event staff to ensure security policies and procedures are enforced throughout the event.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliable forms of communication and transportation
- LEVEL 2 SECURITY: Texas NonCommissioned Guard Card
Skills and Abilities:
- A strong customerservice attitude and professional appearance
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
- The ability to understand and interpret credentials documents signs rules policies and instructions
- The ability to communicate effectively with clients patrons and other employees
- The ability to multitask crosstrain and learn new skills quickly
- The ability to remain calm and levelheaded under highpressure situations
Physical Requirements:
- Full physical and mental dexterity with the ability to walk stoop kneel crouch hear see and speak English clearly
- The ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time (shift duration)
- The ability to lift 25lbs.
Work Environment:
- Elevated noise levels. Athletic and musical events can be very loud and employees must be prepared to be exposed to increased noise levels. Ear plugs are available upon request.
- An energetic and fastpaced environment
- Crowds
- Working outdoor venues. Some of the events we work take place outside or in openair venues and take place rain or shine. Reasonable accommodations are made to assist with employee comfort when necessary (tents rain ponchos drinking water etc.
- Evening and weekend work schedules. Many events take place in the evenings and on the weekends. Flexible availability is required.
