Job Title: Litigation Solicitor
Location: Newbury Berkshire
Salary: 4565k(based on experience)
Experience: 2 years PQE with Property Litigation experience
About the Role:
A leading law firm near Newbury is seeking a talented Litigation Solicitor with 2 years PQE to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven solicitor to build on their litigation experience particularly in the area of Property Litigation while working for a firm known for delivering highquality legal services across a broad range of sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload of general civil and property litigation matters from inception through to resolution
- Provide expert legal advice to clients on a wide range of litigation matters with a focus on property disputes including landlord and tenant issues lease renewals boundary disputes and possession claims
- Draft legal documents including letters before action pleadings and witness statements
- Represent clients in court tribunals and alternative dispute resolution processes such as mediation
- Work closely with the senior legal team to support the ongoing development and growth of the litigation department
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships through effective communication and a clientfocused approach
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor with 2 years PQE in litigation ideally with some experience in Property Litigation
- Confident in managing a varied litigation caseload with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and proven ability to represent clients in court
- Excellent drafting negotiation and advocacy skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and work collaboratively as part of a team
- Organised with great attention to detail and strong timemanagement skills
