Job Description
The Role
We are seeking an Accounting Manager/Sr. Accounting Manager to lead our daily accounting operations ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial data. This role is pivotal in supporting our companys growth fostering trust with stakeholders and meeting regulatory obligations. You will play a key role in refining processes to drive efficiency and strengthening internal controls contributing to the integrity of our financial reporting and building confidence among both internal and external stakeholders.

How You Will Contribute
As an Accounting Manager/Sr. Accounting Manager you will oversee daily accounting operations and ensure that financial reports are accurate and delivered promptly. Your work will directly support the companys growth help maintain stakeholders trust and ensure compliance with regulations. You will be tasked with constantly improving our processes and internal controls. Your role will also involve making our operations more capable and maintaining solid relationships with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead timely completion of monthly closes through the review and preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations. Manage monthly quarterly and annual close processes without material errors ensuring auditreadiness and timely external reporting
- Apply internal control procedures including identifying process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process working with internal teams to gather financial documentation. Review audit reports implement necessary corrections and ensure compliance with audit best practices.
- Develop and implement a transparent standardized process for tracking R&D costs to ensure realtime visibility and timely information to support better decisionmaking.
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance with 58 years of financial accounting experience ideally in biotech or pharma.
- Proficiency in GAAP financial reporting standards tax regulations ERP systems and internal controls.
- Experience in conducting audits complying with regulations and preparing financial statements for audit.
- Proven ability to enhance financial systems streamline workflows and present complex financial data to stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications
- Masters degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience implementing ERP systems.
- Experience with audit preparation.
- Big 4 public accounting experience.
- CPA certification.
