Job Description
- Requires excellent communication skills
- Selfmotivated taskdriven and able to apply best practices theory
- Strong problemsolving skills
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Positive attitude
- Complete single and multiroom alarm installs and setup
- Advanced troubleshooting of simple systems
- Basic understanding of security system programming and design
- Low voltage cabling (security wire RG6 coax Cat5/6 telephone wiring)
- Educate and train end users / demos
- Completion of Alarm Academy (or obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Completion of ProSource University within the first year of employment
- Experience with low voltage cabling terminating and computer networking
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly detailed organized and multitask driven
- Ability to work on rotating oncall service schedule
- Proficient in all assistant level qualifications
- Competent skills with desktop and mobile computing
- Valid drivers license
- Clean driving record and background check
- Minimum of 1year field experience
