The Corporate Development team is responsible for all activities related to both acquisitions and technology inlicensing partnerships. This includes sourcing negotiation due diligence business case development and integration.
As an intern you might:
- Perform research on companies in which SAS may have a potential interest in acquiring or partnering
- Assist in due diligence for potential M&A transaction and partnership agreements
- Analyze relevant M&A transactions in the Technology space and assist in the creation and maintenance of valuation comparables
- Perform research on industries and companies relevant to SASs strategic and M&A efforts
- Assistance in partnership renewal process including working with Product/R&D Managers Legal Finance and others
- Assist with partnership renegotiations including data collection and analysis participation in calls (internal and external) and scenario modeling/analysis.
- Perform other AdHoc analysis and research projects relevant to strategic or IPO readiness efforts across SAS
Required Qualifications
- Youre a student currently pursuing your bachelors degree majoring in Business or related field.
- Youre a college student enrolled in an accredited program not graduating prior to December 2025.
- Microsoft office especially excel. Basic knowledge of financial statements and financial modeling.
- Youre curious passionate authentic and accountable. These are ourvaluesand influence everything we do.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Leadership abilities. Your past experiences demonstrate youll take initiative and go above and beyond the call of duty.
- Youre interested in the future of Analytics and embrace technology.
Preferred Qualifications
- You have experience in at least one of the following types of programs: Canva Adobe PowerPoint Excel

This internship will be based in Cary NC
Internship dates:
May 20 August 8 2025. We can be flexible on start date if your university is on a quarter system. Internships last 12 weeks in total length.

Pay Transparency: The hourly rate for SAS internships is determined by the applicants year in school and the position they are hired into. Hourly rates range from $15 $31 for associates/bachelors level positions and $29 $49/hour for masters/Ph.D positions. Internship roles are not eligible for bonus.
