About This Role

This position is exclusively open to students in the process of obtaining an academic degree

Internship start date: May 5th 2025

During your work term you will collaborate with the Human Resources team on several initiatives.

Beyond what you will be working on you will:

  • gain experience working in a large evolving global organization

  • have the opportunity to develop practical knowledge and experience by being part of a highly competent and dynamic team.

  • Gain experience working on a Canadian Military base including exposure to Military Aircrafts and Live Flying operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the entirety of the recruitment process.

  • Work with the Campus Recruitment Team to recruit summer student/internship programs.

  • Gather the best onboarding practices and propose a plan to improve CAEs onboarding experience involving the right tools and technologies

  • Participate in the deployment of different programs and initiatives in the client groups.

  • Offer support to manager in the management of their personnel (HR policies and procedures training and development and Labour Relations)

  • Conduct research analysis and make recommendations related to various organizational development and HR related initiatives

  • Your responsibilities can evolve and flex based on your strengths and development interests (i.e. employee engagement performance development onboarding etc.

Preferred educational background:

Completing an undergraduate or graduate program in Business Human Resources Industrial Relations Organizational Development Communications Change Management or a related field.

  • Self starter who can successfully plan manage and execute multiple projects at the same time;

  • Enthusiastic self directed learner with a high level of curiosity

  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills to meet critical deadlines within a high volume fastpaced environment;

  • Excellent customer service skills and good judgement

  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing.

Location Moose Jaw SK

Candidate must successfully pass a security evaluation per the requirements of the Controlled Goods Directorate of Canada and to CAE being able to obtain all necessary retransfer authorization in compliance with US ITAR regulations.
