The Department of Residence Life is housed within the Division of Student Affairs. It is comprised of 70 fulltime staff and 475 graduate and undergraduate student staff. What We Want

The Department of Residence Life seeks studentcentered passionate and growthminded professionals to develop student leaders. This role involves working directly with students to enhance their skills knowledge and organizations. You will collaborate with others to develop student organization initiatives improve training and enhance the impact on students in Residence Life. The Student Development Specialist (SDS) II advises the Dan Mizer Chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) and the Residence Hall Staff Council (RHSC) supporting student leadership and development across the department. This position also oversees training and development related to student advising and leadership training.

What You Need to Know

This position may require up to 5 or more travel.

This position may require work beyond normal office hours and/or work on weekends.

Salary: $51750 annual $3000 in Professional Development Funds (pending budget approval)
